Hi! I'm Katie and I am passionately curious.

As a collaborative design researcher who easily connects with people, I love the research process and using my findings as an actionable force for good. Pairing my Bachelor's in Anthropology and intensive training in UX Research, I keep a wide range of methods in my toolkit to seek out inherent possibility in people, place and product, and empathetically develop them to their full potential.

Having explored 16 countries and counting, I’ve immersed myself in cultural anthropology, UX research, radio programming, developing small businesses and promoting global citizenship. I grew up traveling the world (and still do, when time permits), and I want to help others learn about the world, too. If you're a fan of the Enneagram, I am a total 2.

I am currently working as a Design Researcher at a MedTech design consultancy, Veranex (formerly Worrell) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Apart from UX, I am an avid baker & cook, and I occasionally sell at Minneapolis farmer’s markets. Check out my Instagram, @copankitchen
